Stirred Tank Reactor error

I am trying to model a reaction in a stirred tank, have set one reaction using CEL, however the solver is giving me this error:

Details of error:-
----------------
Error detected by routine DELDAT
CDANAM = /FLOW/MESH/LATEST/ZN1 /CrdVx
ICOM,IRET,IERR 1025 2 1
CRESLT = ERR

Current Directory : /FLOW/PHYSICS/ZN1

Could anyone help me?

CFX has some very cryptic error messages. I am just guessing, but I would suspect this error is related to mesh regions. Maybe mesh motion, or activating a new mesh region (maybe as a restart) or changing the state of a meshed region.

If that does not work you can try brute force - I would turn options off in CFX one at a time and rerun it in an attempt to identify which option is causing the error.

Thanks ghorrocks, I turned off the mesh motion option and the error didn't appear anymore, however, now I have the problem that the mixer doesn't rotate.

So the error appears to be in your setup for the mesh motion.

But if the motion is rotation then why not use rotating frames of reference? Much simpler.

Thanks Ghorrocks, all running well now.
