When I do sensitivity analysis I prefer to double or halve the parameter. So I would run 0.05, 0.025 and 0.0125.

When I do meshes I double/halve the element edge length.

When I convergence tolerance on residuals I do it in factors of 10: 1E-3, 1E-4, 1E-5 etc.
