Configurations of Boundary Conditions

Can anyone tell me what does it means a "robust" boundary conditions, as velocity/mass flow at an inlet and static pressure at an outlet ?

It is referring to numerical stability. If you have velocity at an inlet and static pressure at an outlet it is quite numerically stable (in other words the simulation is robust) and has a good chance of converging. If you have a pressure inlet and a pressure outlet it is much less numerically stable and might not converge (in other words it is not robust).
