hi,
i have a 3D geometry with 603969 node and 2286163elements in ansys cfx 14.5. its simulation of a tower with two same porous domain. two countercurrent gas and liquid phases flows in it. when i use :loss model- fluid dependent-isotropic loss- and whether permiability... or inertial loss coefficient... models, it gives MEMERR error at first step. i try serial , parallel mode on core i7 system, lower and higher number of nodes, expression and constant values for loss coefficients, but again it gives MEMERR error. +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Convergence History | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ ================================================== ==================== | Timestepping Information | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Timestep | RMS Courant Number | Max Courant Number | +----------------------+----------------------+----------------------+ | 5.0000E-04 | 0.00 | 0.00 | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================== ==================== TIME STEP = 1 SIMULATION TIME = 5.0000E-04 CPU SECONDS = 9.410E+01 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COEFFICIENT LOOP ITERATION = 1 CPU SECONDS = 9.410E+01 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Equation | Rate | RMS Res | Max Res | Linear Solution | +----------------------+------+---------+---------+------------------+ Details of error:- ---------------- Error detected by routine PEEKL CDANAM = SOURCES /MOM_FL2 /LOSSM/RESIST /LCOEF_RC CRESLT = NONE Current Directory : /FLOW/PHYSICS/ZN1/VL1 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | | Message: | | Stopped in routine MEMERR | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. First of all: Please do not hijack other threads. I have moved this post to a new thread. In future start a new thread for a new question.
Your question: This error suggests there is something in the porous model which is not defined. It is not actually a memory error, it was just looking for a required parameter and could not find it. |
