Hi! I would like to know precisely what values CFX 4.3 stores in the variable YPLUS. In the manual I can read that YPLUS stores the YPLUS values at the walls. From the usual definition of dimensionless distance from the wall y+ at the wall mast be equal 0, so CFX stores in the variable YPLUS something else. I can suppose that it is dimensionless distance between the centre of the control volume immediately adjacent to the wall and the wall, but I would like to be sure that it is really so. You are correct. The value USRDCC YPLUS is the dimensionless wall distance of the first node adjacent to the wall. If you want to retrieve more information write a fortran module e.g. in USRTRN to calculate this quantity for the entire flow field.

I had the same trouble with the CFX Support Services...

In the meantime we have established a small group working with CFX-4 and we are now using most of the user-subroutines for all pruposes except combustion. So we have acquire4d a lot of competence for that...
