Dear Forum Members,

I am working with Coal Combustion.Default CFX Char Oxidation treats water vapor and CO2 as inert. But A.P.Mann and J.H. Kent (1994) have shown that there is significant effect of Char-CO2 and Char-H2O reactions on the Unburnt Carbon. Now, if I want to introduce Mann,s Char Oxidation Model into CFX Char Combustion, how can I do it? Should I use User Fortran? If so, which of them are approprate for Char Oxidation?

It would be a great help for me, if someone come forward to assist me.

Thanks in advance.

Dear MH, Better write your own code. Don't waste your time. The main difficulties are the communications between the developed code and your own code.

Hi Monir,

Could you give me the details about the reference you mentioned: A.P.Mann and J.H. Kent (1994)? I mean full title and publication.

Thank you Best IIN
