Hi, when I use the "VISCOUS HEATING" option in a laminar pipe flow in CFX4.3 the cup mixing temperature of the fluid is higher at the inlet than at the outlet! Shouldn't the term be called "VISCIOUS COOLING" instead? For more information: I use a mass flow boundary at the inlet and at the outlet in order to get a fully developed flow, I have 41 cells in axial direction between inlet and outlet. I solved the viscious heating problem myself by adding heat sources via user-fortran. I am just curious if somebody else has noticed this bug.
