Transfromation between different coordinate frames

Hi All,

I have done some turbulent calculations in a rotating coordinate frame using the Differential Stress Model. My whole geometry rotates with omega, the cylindrical outer wall rotates back with -omega and is virtually standing still as in the real world. Now, are the Reynolds Stresses calcluated based on the velocity field in the rotating coordinates frame or on the velocity field in the stationary frame? As the fluid rotates like a solid body this makes a whole lot of difference.

Thanx for your thoughts, P. Fonteijn
