Hi everyone,
I am using cfx5, what do I need in the early stages so that I can use the solid boundary conditions, fluid-solid interface and solid-solid interface. At the moment, I only have the fluid boundary option available. What do I have to change? If anyone can help please let me know. Regards Jennifer |

First you need to create a solid subdomain. Then you will be able to define fluid-solid interfaces.
You can create solid subdomains on the "Domains" form. The button at the top has three selections: Fluid Domain, Fluid Sub-Domain, Solid Sub-Domain. I suggest that you do the CHT heating coil tutorial which will show you how to create CHT solid regions. I forget which number it is. Sorry. Neale. |
