can I change the geometry file?

I have created the geometry file and I want to modify it, Is this possible and if yes, how? For example I can edit the command file from the command 'edit command file', Is there anything similar to that for the geometry file as well?

Hi,
If you're using CFX-4 it's not advisable to change anything from the .geo file. You must get back to your Pre-processor and make your changes there. I think that you can only change some boundary conditions information, like name and type, but if you're intending to do this you can do it from the command file as is shown below:

Why do you want to edit the geometry file?

You can edit the geo file to add or remove patches, just be sure to update the NPATCH setting. However, if you just want to add a Patch it is easier to use the "Create Patch" in the solver command file.
