Scalar summation over whole volume

Hello,

I would like to sum a user defined scalar, over a whole simulated volume at each time step. Has anybody done this? I have tried by using Fortran in the USRTRN subroutine.

I am using CFX4.4.

Thanks for your help,

Jakub

Hello,
If you're sure that you're solving your user scalar correctly, you can use USRTRN to extract the values that you want. For the whole domain you can take a look at the IPALL routine. It's quite easy to obtain values from variables using this sub-routine.
Good Luck, cfd guy
