a grid error during solving process

Hi everyone:

The problem is about the simulation of a external-loop airlift reactor. I have obtained the geo file by build. But a error occurs when reading the grid in solving process. The error massege is like this: ERROR SPECIFYING GRID IN BLOCK BLOCK-NUMBER-1 THE CELL VOLUME CHANGES SIGN THE VOLUME CHANGES SIGN AT CONTROL VOLUME ( 1, 1, 1) THE VOLUME CHANGES SIGN AT CONTROL VOLUME ( 6, 4, 15) THE VOLUME CHANGES SIGN AT CONTROL VOLUME ( 8, 4, 15)

MAXIMUM VOLUME = 0.4969E-12 MINIMUM VOLUME = -.9555E-04 ***> ERROR NUMBER 1 IN FRONTEND PROCESSING

Could you tell me how can i correct this error? Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: a grid error during solving process

It looks like you have somewhere elements with negative volumes. Try to read the geometry in Analyse or Visualise (or View) to find out where your elements do not match the geometry. Then create a new geometry in Build.

I think you might have picked the points on Block no. 1 in the wrong order when you made it. Make sure you pick them in an orderly fashion face by face. All the best.
