Problems with internal angles when meshing

Hi I am using CFX5.5 to create a complex multi element airfoil. So far I've created a B-rep solid but when l came to mesh my model it came up with a warning that said that there were internal angles to small. I was hopping if any one could tell me how to fix this problem without going back and changing the solid.

Re: Problems with internal angles when meshing

You could try the AFI surface mesher instead of the default Delauney surface mesher. The time to create a mesh will increase a little, but the mesh quality might improve considerably.

If it does not help, you can try to refit the surfaces that are troublesome. But I guess you have to delete the old solid and create a new one. But is that a real problem??

Ivan, where are the pooly defined elements on your airfoil ? Have you tried applying mesh controls in those regions ?? Dave
