Default jet flow simulations

Hello,

I'm looking for tips to improve my convergence time to a steady state solution using CFX TASCFLOW, to model the flow of a supersonic gas jet (2d asisymmetric) (underxpanded or over expanded jet) issuing from a nozzle into ambient conditions.

The flow field contains widely varying timescales at different regions of the flow fild. The use of ETFACT (local time step factor) has been discouraged.

regards nandu
