After importing *.igs file and trying to create brep/solid I get error message about gaps between edges(surfaces). How can I elegantly menage this kind of errors in CFX-Bild?
Thank you in advice, KG |

Edge matching is one solution, sewing another one. These tools are standard fixing tools in CFX-5. Check in the manual or lecture notes.
This type of error is common to most codes when dealing with iges files which quality varies depending on the CAD software they are produced from. |

Hi, can you influence the creation of your CAD model ? this can often be the source of a lot of problems. People who sometimes generate CAD models often do not realise the needs of a CFD engineer and so can build the model in a Sloppy way that will not neatly join together when imported into the CFD package. Care at the model generation stage will result in a nice simple import - Alas, if only all CAD people understood the needs of CFD people !!! dream on people !!! Dave
