I would like to extract grid data from CFX-5 definition file. Is it possible? If yes, how?

read about user mesh export in the documentation. There is a library you can use to do this.

In the cfx5.5.1 solver manager p.no 141 you can find the various options used to export the mesh from cfx to some other solver .

you can do this by the following manner.

Go to solver manager in that, select tools in that select export.then the export form will open.

you can select the type and output level you want and click export. Then you can fine the exported mesh file in the same directory with the extension of your export type ex .cgns,.patran like that.
