CFX-Post batch run error

Dear CFX-5 users,

My CFX-POst in GUI mode work fine but when I try to run CFX-Post in batch mode with

cfxpost.bat –batch NAME.cse

following message in DOS console appear:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any advice will be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance.

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Try running Post with the command cfx5post instead of cfxpost.bat.

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Thanks Robin for your help. It's working.

This is something completely different than CFX-Post user guide instruction. Thank you again.

Best Regards, KG

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

I have just looked into the on-line manual (P;228 actually) and I cannot fault what Robin said. It IS written: cfx5post -batch myfile.cse myfile.res. The documentation is correct.

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Hi Holidays,

This is from my manual "line_interface_mode.pdf" p.230

============================================

To run in Batch mode:

Windows: Execute the command

"CFX-PostROOT\cfxpost.bat -batch filename.cse" at the DOS command prompt.

UNIX: Execute the command

"CFX-PostROOT/cfxpost -batch filename.cse" at the command prompt.

============================================

Are we have/reading the same manual?

Best Regards,

KG

Thanks Robin for make me inform about CFX products.

How can I get CFX-5.5.1? From CFX-community site?

Best Regards,

KG

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

If you have a current license, you should have received 5.5.1 last summer.

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Sorry I assumed we were taking 5.5.1 which is the current version until 5.6Beta

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Are you expecting to get a copy of 5.6beta?

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Dear Neale,

Yes I would like to get a copy of 5.6beta? Is it possible?

Thanks,

KG

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Well you might ask your service rep and see if you can get on the beta tester list. However, this has certain implications on your time. i.e., you must provide feedback for example.

Neale.

All,

There is a form on the CFX-5 page of the community site which you can fill out to be added to the beta program.

Re: CFX-Post batch run error

Any current client can get one, ask your service rep, or just go to the website www.cfx.aeat.com and attempt to log into the community site, if you have no username and password it forwards you to a form so you can get one.
