I am trying to create a similar geometry as in tutorial 13. First of all I create a pipe, then use the methods as in tutorial 1 or tutorial 4 to create the cut-out holes. But when I create the solid, there's a warning message to tell me to use "Edit---Surface---Edage match". What's the reason and how to create it? Thanks

David

I think may be the problem occured because a surfaces you chose to be a boundary representation for created a solid were not closed. They should be a close surfaces. If they are not, The program will see a gab between a surfaces.Try to re-check your B-rep first.

Good luck ^_^ Jackie

In addition, it's possible that you missing the surface that you want to cut it out in the trim surface step, ensure that you already chose the surface you like to trim too.
