is it possible in CFX to simulate 2-phase convecti

Hi My problem involves transient natural convection analysis of liquid hydrogen which is partially filled in a cylindrical tank. It is subjected to different heating conditions. the space over liquid level is occupied by its vapour. I found that there is no provision for evaporation at the interface, as the temperature increases; in the fluent package. Still now, I am working on fluent. So for this new problem, is there any possiblity in CFX. thanks in advance prasanth

Hi Samula,

Interphase mass transfer is not available in the current release (v5.5.1), but will be available in CFX-5.6 (currently in beta and due out at the end of March). Interphase mass transfer allows for effects such as boiling, evaporation and cavitation.

Regards, Robin
