is it possible in CFX to simulate 2-phase convecti
Hi My problem involves transient natural convection analysis of liquid hydrogen which is partially filled in a cylindrical tank. It is subjected to different heating conditions. the space over liquid level is occupied by its vapour. I found that there is no provision for evaporation at the interface, as the temperature increases; in the fluent package. Still now, I am working on fluent. So for this new problem, is there any possiblity in CFX. thanks in advance prasanth

Re: is it possible in CFX to simulate 2-phase conv
Hi Samula,
Interphase mass transfer is not available in the current release (v5.5.1), but will be available in CFX-5.6 (currently in beta and due out at the end of March). Interphase mass transfer allows for effects such as boiling, evaporation and cavitation. Regards, Robin |
