moving reference coordinate system

Dear all, I am trying to model a solid physically moving (translation) within my domain. The solid has a momentum source attached which propells it and the only way i can think to do it is to have a moving reference coordinate system for both the inlet and the solid. Is this possible? Or are there ways around this? Thank you for you time.
