Mesh Quality
 

Hi everybody!

I'm trying to analyse the quality of the mesh in the model that I'm working with. To do this I used the "Mesh Calculator" for check the Max. and Min. Face Angles, Element Volume Ratios, Edge Lenght Ratios and Connectivity Numbers.

For the first and third variables mentioned I obtained good results, but for the others I obtained the following...

Element Volume Ratio, Max=51.78 and Min=1 Connectivity Number, Max=78 and Min=2

The table from page 140 in the CFX Post Help for tetrahedrons elements indicates that elements with Volume Ratios over 5 and Connectivity Numbers below 50 can be a problem.

My physical result are acceptable so I don't know if is really important to pay attention to this mesh variables...

I'll appreciate if someone can give an advice to this respect.
