Hi all,

I would like to perform CFD calculations with chemical reactions. Does anyone know references in open literature in which CFX 5 results were compared with experiments?

Pascale.

Yes, I believe it has been the case for combustion reactions. Additionally if you speak to your support, they might be able to provide such comparison carried out internally for other types of reaction. I have personally used the code for aqueous reaction and, although the reactions were fast (and competitive) and therefore difficult to capture it worked in a way (not perfect), and I could estimate the level of error at the worse point against literature and other codes.
