Re: --URGENT

Hi Danie Your questions are not clear. In order to generate local executable you require digital visual fortran.

Hi Danie,
Unfortunately if you're running on a NT/2000/XP machine you must have installed both Compaq Fortran and Visual C++ in order to compile Fortran user subroutines on TASCflow 2.1x.xx . The reasons? Ask your local support.

Hi local executable should can be made with Compaq visual fortran. You dont need visual C++. With versions of TASCflow 2.11 and 2.12, one need some extra dll files, and i think your support will be able to help you more precisely in your problem.

Sudar, I'm confused! what dll's are needed? This requirement has'nt been stated in the manual. Is digital visual fortran alone not comprehensive??

thanks, Danie

Re: softwares required to build local executables

can u tell me which version of CFX TASCFLOW are u using. because these dlls' are required only for the versions of 2.11. If you are using 2.12,then you go to the direcotry, where your fortran files are kept ( through DOS command prompt), the use the following command to compile the fortran files. But when you compile the files, it should not give any errors ( warnings are allowed)

fl32 file_name.f

this will give you some warning messagaes or whatever, then you can go straight-way to the monitor and their make you local executable.
