Default blade interface for unsteady computation

Hi all,

i have a question about the blade interface. Normally, the numbers of stator and rotor blades in turbomachinery are not equal. To conduct an unsteady simulation, the blade interface should be matched to each other. I've heard about some scaling methods to solve this problem. Can anyone tell me in detail or give me some references?

I thank you very much in advance.

Hi Wang,

In CFX this can be taken into account using the pitch ratio. It is extensively discussed in the documentation, and there is an example demonstrating how to use it.
