Hello, i want to know that how good CFX results are for hydrodynamics problems and if it can handle all the six degrees of freedom equations for hydrodynamics problem.

Hi Sam,

Yes. CFX solves the Navier Stokes equations.

What are the six degrees of freedom for a hydrodynamic problem? The most basic 3D problem only has four: u, v, w and p.

If that is what you mean then CFX-5/4/TASCflow all work very well on a large number of hydrodynamic problems.
