Heat Transfer Coef

Hi

Can anyone help with the unit of the heat transfer coefficient in CFX POST ?

Currently it is defined as [Kg s^-3 k^-1], But i would like to convert it to [W m^-2 K^-1].

Thanks in advance

Re: Heat Transfer Coef

Dear Jens,

[W]=[N m s^-1]=[kg m^2 s^-3]

So [W m^-2 K^-1] equals [Kg s^-3 K^-1].

Jaap

Yeah, it's 6 or half dozen. It's up to you to choose.

Hi Jens,

You can modify the display of specific quantities from the Edit menu in Post. In your case the numeric value will be the same, but you can have Post display the units you prefer.
