Hi Guys!. I picked as a reacting mixture "Methane-Air single step" from Fluids Editor. I would like to know if this mixture is called multicomponent or it's just a component with many differents materials.

Thanks in advance

Carola

Hi Carola

It's a Variable Composition Mixture, whose components are methane, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen. This means that the properties of the mixture are (usually) mass fraction weighted and at any point the local composition can have varying amounts of each component.

Johnson
