Hi Pete,

Have a look at P1234 in the manual, in the chapter "Advancing Front and Inflation (AFI) meshing". It states there that the default surface mesher is Delaunay (with Advancing Front as an option), and volume meshing is done by Advancing Front.

In my experience the CFX5 help files are very good and thorough. I think the software is very well documented. It might take a little while to get the hang of how to find what you want in the documentation as it is so big. I find the master index very useful. Also, there is a technical tip on the CFX community web page (dated 25 July 2003) titled "Effective Documentation Search Strategies". I recommend having a look at it.

Regards, Glenn
