Laminar Flame with CFX5.6

Hi,

You may join me and think I'm stupid:o).

I'm using CFX5.6. When using turbulent combustion and any turbulent combustion model, everything is OK. But I need to calculate a laminar flame (methane-air stoich. mixture) which is ignited by the temperature of the wall. I'm interested in transient calculation (the steady test with simple bunsen burner shows the same error). So I set the mixture, I set the reaction (from the template) as the only possibility for laminar flame to kinetic reaction. After ignition, the solution always ends up with temperatures from 5000 to 6000. The initial temp. is 300K and the pressure throughout the calculation is atmospheric.

It goes the same way when I set the arrhenius parameters myself according to Westbrook.

Any hints? The support remains silent and I want my laminar flame nice and 'cool' around 2500K :o).

Thanks for any hints, you may try anything, I'm already desperate.

How many reactions do you have?

I have 1 reaction ch4 + 2o2 -> co2 +2h2o. I can have also 2 reaction model with the same result. I know it is not anything precise, but it should not jump to 6000 K.
