mesh refinement study

Hello all,

Is there an easy way of doing mesh refinement studies in CFX 5.6.

That is, running a case and then changing the mesh in Build, inporting it into Pre without having to set up the whole problem again.

I thought this would be easy but am having a bit of a nightmare trying to get the second case to run.

Thank you,

Jonathan

Hi Jonathon,

In Pre, you can delete the existing mesh and import a new mesh. As long as all the names of the boundary conditions and everything are the same the all the existing domain information should automatically link to the new mesh. Very straightforward.
