Hows it going.

I'm a Final Year Mechanical Engineering student and my project involves CFX design and analysis.

I've created the necessary geometry in Build and the inlet i require is as follows: an inner and outer radius have a surface defined between them. I want this surface to be the inlet-the inlet is like a ring as such. I know the air velocity travelling perpendicular to the plane of the inlet, but i need it deflected at 45 degrees in all directions after it passes througn the inlet. The problem i'm encountering is how to use the cylindrical co-ordinates in CFX-Pre. The z, theta and r components have to be entered in m s^-1 in CFX 5.5, and i don't know how to specify these, knowing just the velocity perpendicular to the inlet.

Any help at all would be great.
