Modelling a Dryer
Hi, I´m in the beginning to study a dryer and I wish to know if can I go ahead on what I´m thinking. Well, this is an dryer wich dries solid particle of 3 mm dia average. The temperature of the gas is 800/120 inlet/outlet and I have some questions. a) I´m thinking to model wit CFX 5.6 using multiphase Model- Eulerian-Eulerian - Particle model. Can I go ahead? b) There is some problem to transfer the mass of liquid water from one phase to the other as gas? c) Any particular detail to me attempt? d) Does it have something similar to this model? e) CFX 5.7 (next month?) will get better models to this problem?
Thanks for any help. Lucio. Lucio Barreto In fact I write this on cfx-community, and no answer. Is it really a problem? Or... nobody loves me? Maybe my mother... |

Perhaps it's because you're not a celebrity like me.

Re: Modelling a Dryer
Lucio, I am sure someone cares about your model, perhaps you should try your model first, and the post any question(s) you may have, I bet you will get lots of helpful ideas. Cheers

Re: Modelling a Dryer
I need to beg a pardon to CFX community. My questions have been answered there and I really was just joking with the words! Thanks for contributions and probably on the development of my model I will return with more questions.
