Hello All, I understand from some postings in this site that it takes about 400MB to solve approx. 1million volume mesh. I have a simultion that is running across 3 computers with a memory ratio of 2,3,2 Gb and nothing else is running. The mesh breakdown is thus : Total number of Elements =9.62 Ml
Tet =7.67 Ml Prism =1.95 Ml to my amazement and frustration, it is taken 6.05Gb to carry on the simulation, what gives here ? I only expected to use 4.5Gb. I will appreciate any explanation, since I have more models built around the computers that I have. |
