Boundary layer Studies

Hello All, I am trying to do a simulation(s) to study boundary layer on wet and dry surface for external flow. The wet 'surface' is to simulate air as the fluid after it has just rained with droplets on the surfce still. I wonder if anyone has some thoughts on this. Cheers

Hi,

What are you trying to do? Model the surface with water droplets as a kind of rough surface? You could probably model this on a micro scale (ie modelling a small number of droplets) using a multiphase model with a free surface, or on a macro scale (ie a car covered with many water drops) using wall roughness defined by the droplet size.

Just some ideas, it depends on what you are trying to do.
