Hi people! Would like to know where I can get some decent tutorials for ICEM please. I'm new and I'm having a really tough time trying to familiarise myself with this stuff. I've walked through some of the basic procedures like curve generatiion and basic meshing. However, I'm having problems generating more complex profiles and I don't understand how to "close holes" etc. Prevents me from meshing.

Does anyone know where I can download ICEM titorials please? Please lemme know, as I need to get up to speed as soon as I possibly can. Thanks so much! Cheers!

I'm not clear which of ICEM product you're looking for. but if is ICEM-CFD, then try ftp.icemcfd.com. let me know if you didn't get what you want. I only have MED and HEXA though. You can download them from my server if you foldershare.com.

If ICEM CFD lacked anything for being a good mesher, it was the lack of tutorials. Being the good mesher it is, it was bad that no good tutorials were available. However, after Ansys bought ICEM, things seem to have improved. The link below gives a very good tutorial about ICEM meshing. http://www-harwell.ansys.com/demoroom/ Have a nice time learning! NS
