modelling heat generation occourred by friction

Hi everybody, I'd like to know if it's posible in CFX to take acount of the heat generation that occours into a batch reactor beacuse of the frictional effects that take place between solid particles and the impeller / walls of the reactor / baffles. The fluid in this case is a dry powder and the particle size ranges between fraction of and few millimeters. The laboratory model is able to completely dry the 20 kg of the said fluid and then to rise the temperature well over 120°C in about 1 hour. I'd be really grateful if someone could post me a few lines and tell me about topics in CFX reference I could ask to my possible CFX vendor / assistant. Thank you a lot in advance, all replies are wellcome.
