interpolation
hi cfx users
i am giving a detail of my problem I am doing a project "SIMULATION OF FLOW THROUGH INLET MANIFOLD FOR SINGLE CYLINDER SI ENGINE USING CFX-5.7.1 CODE". It involves Transient Analysis. Now while solving this problem, I have done following steps. 1} trial for first crash point [By taking initial time t=0]. It comes for 10 timestep. [DUMMY 1] 2] First Real run for Initial Time =0 and up to 9th Timestep. 3] Then I have changed geometry accordingly for next Trial [For DUMMY 2]. 4] Now while going for Real Run 2, We have to interpolate First Real Results on Second Definition File. While doing so I have got the following error. +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Interpolation of Initial Values | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ 4 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | Error interpolating results onto the new mesh: C:\Program | | Files\Ansys Inc\CFX\CFX-5.7.1\bin\winnt\interp.exe exited with | | return code 4. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ I want to know How to avoid this massage and Are there any conditions for interpolation of results? |
Re: interpolation
Hi,
I would talk to your support rep. Your error is not really something we can help you with. Glenn Horrocks |
