Hi,all,

I need to do some calculation for velocity gradients, like a simple example: [(u gradient of x direction)^2+ (u gradient of y direction)^2+ (u gradient of z direction)^2]^-2. How to describe this with CEL experssion in cfx-pre?

Thanks.

Phil

You'll need to use a user CEL function. There are several examples in the Solver Modeling manual under the User Fortran section toward the back.

Thanks for your reply, Jeff.

I found that it is also straightforword to do this kind of calculation with CFX expression in CFX-Post.

Regards.
