When we are using Auto Mesh in ICEM-TETRA, ICEM does not capture the vertices. For example if we have a cube, ICEM is not placing a node at the 8 vertices. How do we ensure ICEM follows the vertices.

It's also probably not putting vertices on the 12 edges......

Use Geometry Repair, and select Rebuild Toplogy (the first button). This puts hard edges on your 12 curves and forces vertices there. This is usually the first step when importing a model from CAD.

when I check the tet mesh, some problems such as multiple edge and non-manifold will occur. I have no idea of what i should do. can anyone give me advices on how to handle them in general?

Thanks in advance! charles
