I saw an old thread saying it was not possible to use roughness model for kw-sst. Is this status the same now?

You can use it but but only by editing the ccl yourself (latest I saw).

Is there a sample on this editing?

To use wall roughness in combination with omega based turbulence models; Use either (in the wall boundary conditions section of the ccl) :
WALL ROUGHNESS: Option = Rough Wall Roughness Height = x [m] END # WALL ROUGHNESS TURBULENT WALL FUNCTIONS : Option = Automatic END or: WALL ROUGHNESS: Option = Rough Wall Roughness Height = x [m] END # WALL ROUGHNESS TURBULENT WALL FUNCTIONS : Option = Scalable Minimum Yplus = y END You have to fill in x and y of course. |

Thanks! I was earlier worried that this might work only for k-w or k-w BSL only but not kw-SST. Glad to presume it works for kw-SST as well! Bye.
