Hi,
does anybody have a small fortran example setting an inlet profile and changing the source term in the turbulent kinetic energy equation; or similar? I have some UDF for Fluent and want to convert them to CFX. The examples would help getting into it faster; I had problems with the manuals (I like the Fluent manuals much more). Thanks! Fabian |

Hi Fabian,
You don't need fortran to set inlet profiles or source terms. They can both be done using CEL expressions, and they are much simpler to write and implement. Regards, Glenn Horrocks |

Hi Glenn,
that's right, but I thought it would be an easy task to get into cfx fortran handling... Regards! Fabian |

Hi,
Isn't there a tutorial example on setting an inlet boundary profile using fortran? If not ask CFX support and they could provide one. regards, Glenn |

I will very appreciate if you can share your fortran profile tutorial with me. I need it for my solids particles settling problems. My e-mail: timguo@sina.com Thanks. Tim |
