ICEM tin file
Hello everybody,
i've merged 4 tin files to one geometrie and i've deleted some curves points and surface. After saving the new merged tin file the size is nearly 200 mb allhough each of the 4 tin file only have 10 mb. e.g. i've although taken the merged file and have deleted everything apart from 1 curve. And the amazing result after saving is: 201 mb for one curve!! Could someone tell me, what's going on here? |
Re: ICEM tin file
Are you sure you deleted the curves and didn't just make them dormant? Make sure the delete permanently box is checked on the delete curve menu.

Re: ICEM tin file
I don't have a "delete curve menu" under the classic surface!

Re: ICEM tin file
You could also open the tetin file in a text editor to see what's in there. If you see a lot of things with DORMANT in the definition - that's where they are. In the new Interface you have the Delete Permanent option for deleting curves, but not in the old interface.
