ICEM tin file

Hello everybody,

i've merged 4 tin files to one geometrie and i've deleted some curves points and surface. After saving the new merged tin file the size is nearly 200 mb allhough each of the 4 tin file only have 10 mb.

e.g. i've although taken the merged file and have deleted everything apart from 1 curve. And the amazing result after saving is: 201 mb for one curve!!

Could someone tell me, what's going on here?

Are you sure you deleted the curves and didn't just make them dormant? Make sure the delete permanently box is checked on the delete curve menu.

I don't have a "delete curve menu" under the classic surface!

You could also open the tetin file in a text editor to see what's in there. If you see a lot of things with DORMANT in the definition - that's where they are. In the new Interface you have the Delete Permanent option for deleting curves, but not in the old interface.
