Hi friends,
I am trying to use Patran vloume meshing method for a RECTANGULAR BOX with inlet and outlet connected to some faces of box. I am not able to generate the Patran vol mesh because the SURFACES WITH INLET AND OUTLET are TREAMED SURFACES hence are NOT BIPARAMETRIC. To be more clear imagine a BOX(TANK) with 6 faces and two of these faces are having pipes(circ/rect c/s) connected. One pipe as inlet and other as outlet. Since these faces of box are NOT having <= 4 edges and are trimed surfaces i can not use Patran meshing... Can somebody tell me the solution for this? Has somebody done this case in patran meshing mode? Thank you in advance Tuks |
