hai all,

i have doubt about turbulent kinetic energy and dissipation, ie generally how k and epsilon varies along radial and axial direction and i don't know where it is maximun and what is contidion at wall and center of wall

actually k means how much energies in turbulence and epsilon means energy dissipating only due to viscous action , is't it?, i am confusing about k and epsilon please give some more explaination about k and epsilon, and also

thanks

with regards panneerselvam.R

as you sad k is production and epsilon is dissipation of the turbulent kinetic energy. The way they are calculated depends on turbuletn model you are using. More information on the eqitations you can get in theory documentation. If you are engineer do not spend too much time with the equitation study just use the most appropriate turbulence model for your problem.
