Default calculating time

Hi,

I want to calculate a gas flow with ash particles. I started a run with Total Number of Nodes = 184357. This run took about 2 hours. Now I have the same number of nodes and the same number of particles. Why does a run take about 14 hours with the same number of nodes and a few different settings?

Thanks

Claudia

Hi,

Obviously the answer is in the "few different settings"! What changes did you make? I'm guessing it changed the stability of the simulation so it was harder for it to converge and hence took longer.
