length scale option

dear all,

i am a CFX user for the past 3 months and i have a doubt regarding the length scale option what we specify in the CFX-pre stage. i would be grateful if some body could explain me on "what is length scale option? why should we give that as "conservative/aggressive/value for length scale option"? is it necessary and compulsory that we should give that? how will it affect the results ?"

thank you friends

Re: length scale option

Hi,

This is discussed at length in the documentation. It is used to generate a psuedo-timestep for advancing the simulation in a steady state model.
