Default USRBCS in CFX 5 (actually, 5.7.1)

Hi experts,

I am using USRBCS to interpolate for the inlet boundary condition. The values from another calculation are interpolated on to the current inlet. The solver is CFX 4 and so structured grid and the USRBCS completely works in IJK. But when I shift to CFX 5.7.1 where the solver is unstructured how do I accomplish this? Even for the other reasons like, we might go for unstructured grid generation as the geometry becomes complicated that is why I need a work around on how to handle USRBCS. Thanks.

With CFX you simply create a boundary condition profile file. A profile can be created manually or exported from CFX Post. See the documentation for details.

Thanks a lot Robin. I will see the documentation and get back to the forum for further help if need be.
