Kadinese is on a distinguished road
Hi Friends,

I am a student working on compressible flow though a valve.

My inlet is velocity from sin wave with maximum of speed of 3.5 m/s. The velocity is entering though a 68mm diameter tube. My valve has a 3mm gap for the flow to enter though.

My model keeps crashing and I don't understand why. The crash occur at the end half of my sin wave. The velocity is about 2.7 m/s.

Could someone please help me with some ideas?

Thank you

Please post your output file and an image of your geometry.

Have you checked the flow conditions just before the crash? If not then do so. Put a transient result file just before it crashes and have a close look, especially at the throat.
