how to see velocity vectors are moving

Hi to all I have done analysis on cfx.Now i want to see that how flow is going,i.e. how velocity vectors are moving in post process. Can anaybody tell that how i can set this?In addition suppose my domain is rotating( consider example of impeller of pump)i.e. i have taken one blade passage and i want to see it for whole geometry then how i can see it?

Thanks in advance

Re: how to see velocity vectors are moving

You may use the animation feature to show moving vectors. For you sencond question, you may try the instance transform function.

buthow visulize that velocity vectors are moving.

thanks henpeckedman, but i want to know how to set the animation so that we can visulize that velocity vectors are moving.

In the main menu, use tools -> animation to open the animation editor. In the post-processing of the first CFX tutorial, the animation function is illustrated. You may also refer to the CFX-post help for more details.

Re: velocity vectors are moving in domain

that is ok sir, How to see that velocity vectors are moving in domain.I want to visulize that velocity vectors are moving (going from one place to other) in domain.Whether I have to perform transient analysis or not for that.I want to see that velocity vectors are going (with motion) from inlet to outlet.

Re: velocity vectors are moving in domain

hi Ravi, As far as i know you need to use transient simulation.
