problem with starting pre-post processors
 

Hi!

I can`t start pre-post of CFX10 on Linux RedHat Enterprise 4. Solver works correctly. Pre-post give error:

The CFX-5 solver exited with return code 1. No results file has been created.

/home/cfx10/CFX/CFX-10.0/bin/linux/PreGui_ogl.exe: /home/cfx10/CFX/CFX-10.0/lib/linux/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.3' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6) Warning!

CFX-PRE exited with return code 1

Could somebody help me? Ivan.

Hi,

This is a graphics error. some graphic drivers may not be loaded or are loaded in a wrong place. Are you sure your graphic card supports OPEN GL. See if you card specification match those specified for LINUX machines on the ansys website/manual.

You can also try the following command:

cfx5pre -gr mesa

This assumes that you have set the path for cfx5 launcher. if not, preceed the cfx5pre with the path to the bin folder of CFX5 installation.

my graphic card does not support OPEN GL. But, I have winwdows version of CFX5.7 on this machine, and this version runs correctly. Should I start pre processor with some other key?

Hi!

All is ok! You are quite wright, "cfx5pre -gr mesa" is the wright way! How can I teach me louncher to start pre post processors whith this key?
